Fifth Town Artesian Cheese -  Fifth Town exists to delight, educate and inform the people who love Fine Cheese and who care about authentic, wholesome, sustainable produced foods. Our goal is to successfully demonstrate the possibilities of small scale dairying in Ontario and sustainable enterprise management.

This is a new cheese factory which calls itself the Canada/'s Greenest Dairy and after your time spent at their lecture, tour and taste testing, you will be able to make a decision on whether or not it is true.

Our stop includes their $2.00 per person a green building tour, this is around the outside of the building and they explain the features of their LEED platinum facility. They also cover the story of Fifth Town, then bring us into their retail store where we have a viewing window to watch cheese being prepared and to see more of our dairy. To finish our tour samples are provided of all our cheeses.

Their cheese factory has fresh, washed rind. soft ripened, hard and limited edition cheeses along with kits to make cheese, local jams, crackers, chocolate and a sampling table for those who are adventurous enough to try their great goat cheeses.
